I’ve experienced dental trauma in my past, and am always nervous getting any dental work done. Dr. Delgado is the first dental surgeon I’ve been to that I trust completely and am comfortable having work done. He is extremely gentle and goes out of his way to make sure you are ok throughout the procedure. He performed several procedures for me including a dental extraction, bone grant, and dental implant. I highly recommend him. His assistant Jennifer is also very caring, and the front office staff is very efficient. Dr. Delgado is amazing, and his practice is the best I’ve ever experienced. More

Dr. Delgado and his very qualified professional staff have been extracting various unsalvageable teeth, of mine, for 15+ years, flawlessly. They specialize in extractions and preparing for implants though do not do crowns. Though some dentists can do extractions, I always go to Dr. Delgado to do mine, why go somewhere other than a specialst who does performs extractions and prepares for implants all day long ? If I am not mistakened, he taught (or teaches) at Georgetown or George Washington's school of dentistry. He also, I believe, was a kicker for the Washington Redskins a long time ago. More

Had to have a cracked molar extracted and bone graft placed. I wasn’t brave enough to just have Novocain so opted for sedation. That was an extra $280 but well worth the cost since I sat down, had my blood pressure taken, interacted with several very friendly, efficient people including Dr. Delgado, had a painless IV stick in my left arm, was told I’d start feeling relaxed which I did, then woke up with some gauze in my mouth being told it was all over. Procedure took maybe 25 mins, then I rested in a nearby cubicle and got a text from my friend that she was on the way to pick me up. Since I haven’t needed so much as even having a cavity fillled in 20 yrs I had been very apprehensive of what I considered the worst thing imaginable—having a tooth pulled! But this was a nonevent thanks to the ultra-professional friendly staff from the receptionist who answers the phone to the surgery assistant Jennifer who sorts out all the monitors you need to be attached to to the very calm and reassuring Dr Delgado himself. I am so glad my dentist referred me here for the extraction. No phobias triggered, no difficult personalities encountered, no billing surprises—in fact I was shocked at how reasonable the cost was given all my other experiences with our modern health care system. Going to Dr Delgado’s office is like stepping back in time to when we Americans used to receive excellent health care for a reasonable cost in a safe, warm, welcoming environment. I can’t remember the last time that happened. Probably back in the 1980s (I’m 70 now). Highly recommended office especially the front facing staff. I was referred on an emergency oral procedure. The staff got me check in & the Dr. & his assistant Jennifer performed my procedure with no problems what so ever. I would highly recommend this team to do any dental work on me & my family anytime. Great experience. No pain & all! More

Everything is good except for one thing. The front desk lady ( not sure if she is the same person with the one who booked me in) said I confirmed sleep instead of local anesthesia. Actually,I confirmed local anesthesia instead of sleep. So I don't who made a mistake. More

I was referred to Drs. Delgado & Kuzmik, PC by my primary care dentist for the purpose of checking a questionable patch of tissue for which photos and x-rays could not provide definitive answers. I was able to get the appointment within a day of calling, was offered an appointment at the office that was closer to my home, and was also able to fill out the myriad patient intake forms online to reduce wait time on the day of the appointment. The front office staff was simply wonderful and efficient. Wait time in the office was less than five minutes after arrival. After taking a look-see at the area in question, Dr. Delgado recommended taking a biopsy of the tissue for laboratory review, though he did not seem concerned that it was anything serious. When I said that I would make an appointment for the biopsy, he indicated that it could be done right then and there! (No time to get worked up and nervous about anything.) They checked my insurance on the spot and determined that I would be covered and presented me with the release forms to sign. Dr. Delgado performed the biopsy on the spot and was very kind and gentle during the process. His surgical assistant, Jennifer, was very caring and efficient as well, putting me totally at ease. The procedure was done in very short order, and Jennifer presented me with the best set of post-procedure instructions I have ever received. No after effects at all! Best of all? My appointment started at 2:00, and I was in the car on the way home at 2:40. All in all, this was a great experience, and I would recommend this practice without hesitation. Thank you! More

The operation was quick and had no complications. The doctors were descriptive in their explanation of the procedure and answer all questions I had for them. They performed the surgery quickly and I felt as comfortable as I possibly could getting the anesthesia administered and my wisdom teeth removed from my top and bottom left side. The instructions for aftercare provided are most helpful and descriptive as well and the prescription for pain killers went through to my pharmacy with no trouble and the medication prescribed has worked perfectly. A doctor's note excusing my absence from work was provided upon my request for it and everything seems to be relatively normal now. I highly recommend this office and it's staff for anyone in need of Oral Surgery within the Tyson's Corner/Vienna/McLean area. More

Tooth extraction. Went very smoothly from beginning to end. Dr Delgado told me each step he was going to take, so I knew what to expect. Discharge instructions were very clear. I was given extra gauze pads for bleeding, but there was almost none. Receptionist contacted my HMO to order post procedure medications, which were ready for pickup by the time I got to the pharmacy a half hour later. When anesthesia wore off, only moderate pain, and hydrocodone reduced it to practically nothing. And they played classical music over the sound system! 👍 More

Had to have 3 teeth pulled in preparation for dental implants and visited Dr. Delgado's office. Kira, the office manager, is an absolute delight and squeezed me into their tight schedule. Kayla, at the front desk, was so very helpful and took care of all my paperwork. Honestly, I was a bit nervous about having 3 teeth pulled but Dr. Delgado and the staff took the time to explain the procedure to me. Can anyone say they look forward to their next oral surgery? I can. Look, I'm getting older. I'm surely going to have more oral surgery needs and I will not be going anywhere else as long as I live in the DMV. I have had two procedures led by Dr. Delgado. The man is a genius. An extraction and an implant and not a smidge of discomfort the next day following two perfect procedures that were over in what seemed like minutes. How do you drill a titanium screw into someone's jaw bone and leave no pain or swelling the next day!? It was like it never happened! (obviously, results may vary). The entire office makes you feel welcome and at ease the minute you step in the door. There's no shame about being nervous; they make you immediately comfortable and confident. The nicest office staff of any medical office I have ever encountered and no one has beside manner like Delgado and his assistants do these days. Add an easy and convenient Alexandria location on top of everything else. Really can't thank them enough. More

I would like to share my recent most excellent experience with Dr Hamad Alharbi. For many years I had been an extremely satisfied patient of Dr Michael Kuzmik who has since retired. I recently required urgent oral surgery to remove two teeth. This was my first visit to Dr Alharbi (who had immediately agreed to see me same day). He performed a very thorough but timely diagnosis and clearly explained his prognosis and recommended course of action. His attention to detail with meaningful explanations and responses to questions are exceptional. My surgical procedure was timely, thorough and painless. Dr Alharbi followed up after surgery several times to check on my recovery(which has gone very well). I strongly recommend Dr Alharbi. More

I couldn't write a more shining review for Dr. Delgado and his staff. I was extremely nervous to have my two impacted wisdom teeth removed (which several dentists had frowned at and told me would be painful to remove and I had put off for years), but Dr. Delgado made the process as easy as breathing. It was easy to book a quick appointment, his staff was kind and efficient and it all felt like it happened in a blink (I was sedated). Yesterday, Dr Delgado installed the dental implant screw that will hold my planned new molar crown. I can’t thank the entire team enough for making it a — dare I say —pleasurable experience. Dr. Delgado performed the work methodically and expertly — and ensured that I was 100 percent pain free from start to finish. SueLynn, helped me with the pre-procedure imaging, assisted during the procedure, and reviewed with me the post-op instructions. She couldn’t have been more generous with her time and insights. Likewise, the folks at the front desk were beyond courteous. If you need an oral surgeon, you want the best. I have no doubt I’ve found that with Dr. Delgado’s team. —— After I badly fractured a tooth and lived with the pain for several days, I discussed my options with my dentist and endodontist. They both concluded that the best course of action was likely to have the tooth removed and replaced with an implant. They referred me to Dr. Delgado who graciously got me in right away. He, and importantly his staff, were unfailing generous with their time in explaining the process and performing the procedure. Dr Delgado performed the extraction expertly. It was quick and painless. I was stitched up and on my way home in about an hour. It’s now nearly 24 hours later and I’m pain free. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, and I look forward to working with his team on follow-up appointments to plan for the new implant. More

Had a root of a molar removed due to infection. Very professional service. Better than the actual work was the directions Sue Lynn gave me for the aftercare. There aren't enough stars to give this practice. I traveled 4,000 miles to have my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Delgado. The procedure was not only completely painless but also very quick. He then masterfully applied a local anesthesia and in less than 15 minutes he removed the tooth. He said I would feel some pressure which I did but there was no pain. He was very reassuring that the procedure would go well, and it did. His assistant Sue Lynn then lovingly explained the post-surgery do's and don'ts and also gave me written instructions to take home. The front office staff was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Delgado to anyone who needs oral surgery performed. More

After I badly fractured a tooth and lived with the pain for several days, I discussed my options with my dentist and endodontist. They both concluded that the best course of action was likely to have the tooth removed and replaced with an implant. They referred me to Dr. Delgado who graciously got me in right away. Dr Kuzmik made it a very comfortable experience throughout the whole procedure. He explained the entire process step by step while removing my 4 wisdoms. He also reached out later throughout the day for a check up. His assistant was also very sweet and lovely while explaining the postoperative instructions. Entire procedure took about 30 minutes. I don’t even know how to best describe this place. I had a number of unfortunate dental experiences and Dr Kuzmik was my last hope. So I waited for two complex procedures before I’d review: a dental implant and an extraction with bone graft. I cannot overstate Dr Kuzmik’s expertise. He is infinitely meticulous and fastidious. I had no pain, and I mean nothing more than mild gum tenderness, after both procedures. I’m talking drilling a screw into your jaw, and pulling teeth and packing the site with chips. I don’t know what kind of magic is this, but I am one day after the extraction and I’m not even taking Tylenol. I have two stitches in my mouth, I can feel them with my tongue, so it should hurt, you’d think. It doesn’t. The implant is nice and straight. And the cost is perfectly reasonable. I’d trust Dr Kuzmik with overseeing a flight to Mars, or brain surgery, or any other expert task, because he’s that careful and detail oriented. Mars aside, I am so happy I was referred to this office. Edit: I forgot to mention, he calls to check on you after the procedure, then you go back for a one week checkup post implant, there is a torque exam of some sort still in my future, in short you get a lot of care and monitoring, to ensure you’re healing well and everything is juuust perfect. Dr. Kuzmik is an extremely skilled professional,  and I am no stranger to the dental chair.    He is cautious and anticipates  potential scenarios before he begins his procedures.  Yesterday he called my dentist to coordinate my care before he would extract a tooth under a permanent bridge which was quite involved. Dr. Kuzmik is an extremely skilled professional, and I am no stranger to the dental chair. He is cautious and anticipates potential scenarios before he begins his procedures. Yesterday he called my dentist to coordinate my care before he would extract a tooth under a permanent bridge which was quite involved.
