I was referred to Drs. Delgado & Kuzmik, PC by my primary care dentist for the purpose of checking a questionable patch of tissue for which photos and x-rays could not provide definitive answers. I was able to get the appointment within a day of calling, was offered an appointment at the office that was closer to my home, and was also able to fill out the myriad patient intake forms online to reduce wait time on the day of the appointment. The front office staff was simply wonderful and efficient. Wait time in the office was less than five minutes after arrival. After taking a look-see at the area in question, Dr. Delgado recommended taking a biopsy of the tissue for laboratory review, though he did not seem concerned that it was anything serious. When I said that I would make an appointment for the biopsy, he indicated that it could be done right then and there! (No time to get worked up and nervous about anything.) They checked my insurance on the spot and determined that I would be covered and presented me with the release forms to sign. Dr. Delgado performed the biopsy on the spot and was very kind and gentle during the process. His surgical assistant, Jennifer, was very caring and efficient as well, putting me totally at ease. The procedure was done in very short order, and Jennifer presented me with the best set of post-procedure instructions I have ever received. No after effects at all! Best of all? My appointment started at 2:00, and I was in the car on the way home at 2:40. All in all, this was a great experience, and I would recommend this practice without hesitation. Thank you! More

Tooth extraction. Went very smoothly from beginning to end. Dr Delgado told me each step he was going to take, so I knew what to expect. Discharge instructions were very clear. I was given extra gauze pads for bleeding, but there was almost none. Receptionist contacted my HMO to order post procedure medications, which were ready for pickup by the time I got to the pharmacy a half hour later. When anesthesia wore off, only moderate pain, and hydrocodone reduced it to practically nothing. And they played classical music over the sound system! 👍 More

Had to have 3 teeth pulled in preparation for dental implants and visited Dr. Delgado's office. Kira, the office manager, is an absolute delight and squeezed me into their tight schedule. Kayla, at the front desk, was so very helpful and took care of all my paperwork. Honestly, I was a bit nervous about having 3 teeth pulled but Dr. Delgado and the staff took the time to explain the procedure to me. Can anyone say they look forward to their next oral surgery? I can. Look, I'm getting older. I'm surely going to have more oral surgery needs and I will not be going anywhere else as long as I live in the DMV. I have had two procedures led by Dr. Delgado. The man is a genius. An extraction and an implant and not a smidge of discomfort the next day following two perfect procedures that were over in what seemed like minutes. How do you drill a titanium screw into someone's jaw bone and leave no pain or swelling the next day!? It was like it never happened! (obviously, results may vary). The entire office makes you feel welcome and at ease the minute you step in the door. There's no shame about being nervous; they make you immediately comfortable and confident. The nicest office staff of any medical office I have ever encountered and no one has beside manner like Delgado and his assistants do these days. I couldn't write a more shining review for Dr. Delgado and his staff. I was extremely nervous to have my two impacted wisdom teeth removed (which several dentists had frowned at and told me would be painful to remove and I had put off for years), but Dr. Delgado made the process as easy as breathing. Yesterday, Dr Delgado installed the dental implant screw that will hold my planned new molar crown. I can’t thank the entire team enough for making it a — dare I say —pleasurable experience. Dr. Delgado performed the work methodically and expertly — and ensured that I was 100 percent pain free from start to finish. SueLynn, helped me with the pre-procedure imaging, assisted during the procedure, and reviewed with me the post-op instructions. She couldn’t have been more generous with her time and insights. Likewise, the folks at the front desk were beyond courteous. If you need an oral surgeon, you want the best. I have no doubt I’ve found that with Dr. Delgado’s team. —— After I badly fractured a tooth and lived with the pain for several days, I discussed my options with my dentist and endodontist. They both concluded that the best course of action was likely to have the tooth removed and replaced with an implant. They referred me to Dr. Delgado who graciously got me in right away. He, and importantly his staff, were unfailing generous with their time in explaining the process and performing the procedure. Dr Delgado performed the extraction expertly. It was quick and painless. I was stitched up and on my way home in about an hour. It’s now nearly 24 hours later and I’m pain free. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, and I look forward to working with his team on follow-up appointments to plan for the new implant. More

There aren't enough stars to give this practice. I traveled 4,000 miles to have my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Delgado. The procedure was not only completely painless but also very quick. Thousand stars for efficiency, excellence, and transparency! I believe they are the top best oral surgeons in the country. I think the doctors here are a gift to the humanity. This provider is here to serve the people and not running a business. Efficient service: Got appointment within a week for bottom wisdom teeth removal. They kept notes when I made the appt and didnt have to repeat when i was there for the appt. They ask for only the info they need, Minimal paperwork (only whats necessary). Nobody gave any bs sales speech. Excellent professionalism: x-ray and tooth extraction were done on the same day. The entire process took maybe 45mins but the actual surgery took less than 5mins. That's how expert Dr. Kuzmik is! Felt a little bit of pressure during the surgery and coudn't tell when the tooth was out. No pain during the procedures. The doctor and staff provided details before, during and after the surgery, and care instructions at home. The doctor even called to check on me at night how im doing and if i needed any assistance. Cost Transparency: They offer the best value and very upfront about out of pocket cost. No hidden cost nor crazy bills. Wish I found this provider when I had my upper wisdom teeth removed. I was referred to Dr. Delgado for wisdom teeth extraction. I still had all 4 of them but # (1) had become problematic. I have had quite a bit of dental work done but this extraction was just about pain free. No swelling and very little blood. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer all questions. I prepped for the visit by reviewing his clinic website, dkoms[dot]com and downloading the patient information pages and filling them out. That saved lots of time. Somewhat to my surprise, because the waiting area was empty, I waited almost 20 minutes past my appointment time before being taken to the treatment room. Nevertheless, the young woman who escorted and got me settled was pleasant and appeared knowledgeable. Dr. Delgado arrived promptly, talked with me, politely slowing his speech after I explained my hearing impairment, and discussed the procedure, asked appropriate questions about what I wanted/needed to feel safe and comfortable during the procedure, explained pre-op and post-op precautions. I am waiting for estimates for the procedure but have already been scheduled, which is a pleasant surprise, as I expected to have to wait for another month.
