Sinus Precautions

DO NOT BLOW YOUR NOSE.
NO SMOKING.
If you need to sneeze or cough, use a tissue and keep your mouth open.
DO NOT use a straw for 10 days following surgery.
Use a decongestant, such as Sudafed, Claritin D, Zyrtec D or Allegra D, daily following package directions for 10 days. You may also use nasal sprays such as Afrin or Sudafed.
Elevate your head while sleeping for one week following the surgery.
